NASHUA — State police say a Londonderry woman was killed Tuesday when the truck she was driving hit a traffic light pole on the Exit 1 off-ramp from the Everett Turnpike in Nashua.
According to New Hampshire state police, around 9:07 a.m. Tuesday troopers from the Troop B barracks were dispatched to investigate a report of a single motor vehicle into a traffic light pole near the Exit 1 off-ramp from the Everett Turnpike in Nashua.
Upon arrival, state police reported a 2006 Toyota Tacoma with New Hampshire plates against a traffic light post. A preliminary investigation shows the Tacoma, driven by Pamela Sigalos, 68, of Londonderry was headed southbound on the off-ramp when her truck hit a light post before hitting the traffic light.
Sigalos was pronounced dead at the scene.
The right turning lane at the end of the off-ramp was shut down for approximately four hours while state police investigated the crash. Anyone with information about the crash is asked to contact Trooper J. DeJesus at 223-4381.
