SUTTON — A Colchester, Vt., driver suffered serious injuries in a one-car rollover on Interstate 89 North Friday evening, State Police said.

Nathan Besio was brought to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon for treatment following the crash of the 2017 Dodge Caravan he was driving.

State Police responded at 6:01 p.m. just south of Exit 11, officials said.

An investigation revealed Besio was traveling northbound when his minivan drifted off the high-speed side of the interstate and Besio overcorrected his steering and lost control. The minivan rolled over, coming to rest off the right side median.

Other drivers stopped to give Besio aid until emergency medical personnel arrived, officials said.

Travel was reduced to one lane for about an hour and a half until the accident was cleared.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation. Police ask anyone with information to contact Trooper Kyle Dombrowski at 223-4381 or via email at Kyle.Dombrowski@dos.nh.gov.
