ROCHESTER — A Farmington man was injured after a two-car crash on Rochester Hill Road Sunday evening, police said.

John Mcgarvey, 33, was in a Nissan Pathfinder that collided with a GMC Envoy when the Envoy slowed; police said both vehicles were eastbound.

Mcgarvey was taken to Frisbie Memorial Regional Hospital with what police described as non-life-threatening injuries.

The occupants of the GMC Envoy — driver Jose Cuevas Checo, 43, of Rochester, passenger Ana Rita Oualles, 41, also of Rochester and three minor children — were evaluated by paramedics, but not taken to the hospital.

Police said the accident happened just before 6 p.m. in the area of 145 Rochester Hill Road.

The road was briefly shut down.

Anyone with information about the accident is asked to contact the Rochester Police Department at 603-330-7128.
