Milan man, 43, killed in collision with logging truck on Route 110

MILAN — A 43-year-old man died after his car collided with a tractor-trailer Friday afternoon on Route 110, according to New Hampshire state police.

Timothy Lacasse of Milan was driving southbound on Route 110 when his car struck a tractor-trailer heading north driven by Ronald Vigneau, 52, of Norton, Vt. Lacasse died at the scene, state police said.

The accident was reported to Troop F at 4:53 p.m. Berlin, Milan and Stark fire departments assisted at the scene, along with Berlin police, U.S. Forestry Service, Milan-Dummer Ambulance and the New Hampshire Department of Transportation.

Speed and alcohol were not factors, police said.
