Reggae and Rodney

The Wailers will perform at the Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom on Friday. If you like reggae music, you probably already know who the Wailers are. As Bob Marley's band, they have sold over 250 million records worldwide. You'll hear some of their classics, such as "Get Up, Stand Up" and "I Shot the Sheriff". Come to the beach for an evening of island music. Tickets are only $20 in advance, $22 the day of the show. On Saturday, comedian Rodney Carrington will take the stage for a show filled with his own style of beloved humor. Tickets are $39-49.

Pippin at the Palace

The Tony-Award winning musical Pippin, a coming of age story by the acclaimed choreographer and director Bob Fosse, made its mark on Broadway during the 70's and the 80's. Now it's coming to the Palace Theatre in Manchester for two weekends. As one of the longest running shows in Broadway history, Pippin is a magical journey that you're bound to fall in love with. Tickets are $27.50-40.

Ladies' Night Out

The Lebanon Opera House is bringing the show Women in Comedy with Loretta LaRoche and Friends to town on Friday evening. The gals, including Christine Hurley, Kelly MacFarland and Sue Burton (from Nick at Night's funniest mom contest) will be headlined by celebrated humorist Loretta LaRoche, the author and Emmy-nominated PBS star. She'll be signing her latest book, Kick Up Your Heels, after the show. Tickets are $25-45.

Take a break from the stresses of life with Hillsborough's annual Timeless Tea House Tour and visit some historic and unique homes on your way through town. The Doo-Wop Hall of Fame will return to the Colonial Theatre in Keene this weekend. This year's lineup features Shep's Limelites, The Tune Weavers, and the spectacular legacy of Clyde McPhatter and the Drifters with his son Ron McPhatter. The show will also include a special tribute to Ray Charles and Harvey Robbins' Royalty of Rock ‘n Roll All-Stars. Tickets are $25-39.
