Directions: Take Willow Street, off Route 3A in Bristol
Catterall Forest has an outstanding stand of red oak trees.
- Guy I. Burch Forest
- Freedom, NH
Acreage: 20 acres
Directions: Just 0.5 miles West of the ME-NH line on Route 25. The Burch Forest is on the right just past a small side road approximately 1.4 miles from Route 25.

- New Durham, NH
Acreage: 29 acres
Directions: Located on Route 11, 4.5 miles South of junction of Routes 11 & 28. A sign on the right marks the parking area/entrance.
- Etta M. & Leon P. Tilton Memorial Forest
- Gilmanton, NH
Acreage: 203 acres
Directions: From the intersection of Routes 107 & 106 in Laconia, take Route 107 S for 2.4 miles. Turn left onto Durrell Mt. Rd. and travel 2.2 miles. Park where the road steepens and continue on foot 700' to a log landing on right. A woods road goes South from here.

Acreage: 236 acres
Directions: From Rotary at junction of Rts. 28 & 11, head South on Route 11 for 3.8 miles. Turn left at flashing light (Depot Rd.). Go 0.4 mile to Main St. and turn left at stop sign. Go 1.6 miles to Merrymeeting Lake Rd. Go 1.8 miles, then right onto Powder Mill Station Fish Hatchery. Just past hatchery turn left onto Powder Mill Rd. and go 1.1 miles.

- New Durham, NH
Acreage: 396 acres
Directions: From the blinking light in New Durham, travel South East on Route 11 for 1.4 miles and turn left onto Davis Cross Rd. Go through crossroad, continue up hill, and bear right on Middleton Rd. Park on right side of Middleton Rd. near the property sign and gate in less than 1 mile.

Acreage: 227 acres
Directions: Take Exit 18 from the Spaulding Turnpike, turn right on Route 125 and travel South for 0.7 miles. Park at the entrance of gravel access road on the right. Follow access road under the bridge to logging road extending to right.
Merriman Forest
Sandwich, NH
Acreage: 102 acres
Directions: Just past the junction of Routes 25B & 25 in Center Harbor, turn left onto Bean Rd. Go about 5.1 miles. Property is on the right. Look for a marked trailhead.

Directions: This is a newly acquired property by the Society for the Protection for New Hampshire Forests. Contact them at 603-224-9945 for directions to the property.

Tamworth, NH
Acreage: 203 acres
Directions: Take Route 25 to Route 113 North, heading to Tamworth. Go about 0.75 miles and turn left on Hollow Hill Rd. Continue for 0.3 miles. When road changes to gravel, take right onto a small gravel road. This leads to the forest.

Sandwich, NH
Acreage: 203 acres
Directions: Take Route 25 to Route 113 North, heading to Tamworth. Go about 0.75 miles and turn left on Hollow Hill Rd. Continue for 0.3 miles. When road changes to gravel, take right onto a small gravel road. This leads to the forest.
Stimson Forest
Ossipee, NH
Acreage: 45 acres
Directions: At the junction of Routes 16 & 28 in Ossipee, travel on Route 16 for 0.2 miles. Turn right onto Elm St. Go 0.1 miles to a fork in the road, then turn right at fork (Elm St.). Go 1.1 miles to property on the left.
Weeks Forest
Gilford, NH
Acreage: 86 acres
Directions: The entrance to Weeks Forest is located on the North side of Route 11A just East of Gilford Village. Parking is available across the highway at the Gilford Town Office. Trail maps are available at the town library.
