Scarecrows around the State
We've scoured the state looking for the scarecrows and pumpkin people and discovered the "best of the best" displays and contests throughout the state. Some of these locations allow you to build your own, others are looking for judges to pick their favorites. But all of them have a single theme: Autumn in New Hampshire. We've put together a list below of the best places to spot these creations across the Granite State!
Throughout the towns of Glen, Bartlett, Intervale, Hart's Location and Jackson
When: October 1-20, 2009
Starting October 1st and continuing through October 20th the Jackson Area will be visited by dozens of Pumpkin People ready to entertain and amuse guests and local residents alike. Last year we had the Return of the Pumpkin Jedi, Pumpkin People Construction workers, Bride & Groom, Maid Service, YMCA Pumpkin Band and so much more... What ever these Pumpkin People do this year you will surely be sorry if you don't make an effort to go out and see them. You will find Pumpkin People at local inns, businesses, restaurants, attractions and even private homes.
