Corn Mazes

Beech Hill Farm Corn Mazes - Hopkinton, NH It's an
a-maze-ing
experience. Local farms have figured out how to cash in, beyond pumpkins, apple picking, and produce, at harvest time. By offering corn mazes, they draw families (who inevitably buy produce at their farm stands) while creating a fun, challenging and educational diversion for their customers. Get lost along the twists and turns of the corn mazes we've discovered in New Hampshire.

It's a great way to spend an autumn afternoon with the whole family!

This is the third year that Sherman's Farm will offer a corn maze. The Shermans and maze designer Brett Herbst — the world's leading designer of 600+ corn mazes worldwide -- hope to challenge the wits of those seeking to find the one exit from their mind-boggling puzzle -- a unique source of good farmin' fun for adults and children alike. Though the correct pathway can be walked in only 30 minutes, most wandering maze-goers will require about one hour or more to travel through more than three miles of twists, turns and decision points. The maze design for 2008 was spectacular and depicted the University of New Hampshire Wildcats and University of Maine Black Bears ice hockey rivalry. In 2007, the inaugural maze depicted the NH state quarter design chosen when the Sherman Farm became the first MAiZE in New Hampshire. Other attractions at the MAiZE are the Moo Express, a Mini Maze, Corn Box, Hayrides, Pick your own Pumpkins, farm animals for petting, and food and drink will be offered.
