Independence Day 2008 in New Hampshire
4th of July Celebrations and Fireworks
It's the way we celebrate Independence Day. Boom, pop, crackle. Ooohs. Aaahs. Here is where you will find the fireworks displays taking place across the state on and around the 4th of July, 2008!
Special Events
Friday, July 11
Amherst: Parade and festivities in Amherst Village begin at 10 a.m., fireworks at dusk
Warren: Dusk, Town Commons.
Saturday, July 12
Alton Bay: 9:20pm, Fireworks will be launched off a barge in Lake Winnipesaukee. Fireworks were postponed from July 3. Parking is available in the Alton Bay parking lot and along Route 11. Boat parking to watch the show will be available south of Shibley's Restaurant and north of the channel markers going into back bay. Concert 7 p.m. Alton Bay Bandstand
Bristol: 9pm, fireworks at foot of Newfound Lake. Rain date July 13.
Raymond: 10pm, fireworks on the Common.
