MANCHESTER — Police have issued an arrest warrant for an 18-year-old accused of stabbing a man during a fight at a convenience store, police said.

Chad Nagy of Manchester is wanted on a felony warrant for first-degree assault and criminal threatening with a deadly weapon, police said Sunday in a news release.

Witnesses told police Nagy displayed a knife during a fight outside a residence near Mr. Market on Friday night, police said.

Nagy was chased from the residence to the store at 297 Spruce St. When pursuers attempted to keep him inside the store by holding the door closed, police said Nagy was able to escape and stabbed another man in the left forearm.

Investigators working with the Gang Prevention Unit identified the attacker as Nagy.

Police released his photograph Sunday, warning the public that he should be considered armed and dangerous. Nagy is about 5 foot 7, 145 pounds, with blond hair and blue eyes.
