NASHUA — A 15-year-old boy is being investigated for posting a violent message on social media, police said Sunday.

Nashua police received a tip Saturday afternoon from a person reporting a threatening comment directed at Nashua High School North, police said in a release.

Detectives from the Special Investigations Unit determined that none of the threats were directed specifically toward any particular students or faculty, according to the release.

Detectives tracked the post to a 15-year-old student and arrested him around 7:50 p.m. Saturday, police said.

The name of the juvenile and charges he faces were not immediately released. Police said the investigation is ongoing and there were no known threats to anybody at the school.
