MANCHESTER - A man police had under surveillance on a warrant for selling drugs is now facing additional felony charges after police said they found a stolen gun and SUV while arresting him.

According to a press release, the Manchester Police Gang Prevention Unit had Rafferty Libby, 19, under surveillance for the arrest warrant for sale of a controlled drug. At about 3:30 p.m., police detained and arrested Libby after he got out of a taxi by a 405 Manchester St. residence.

While he was being arrested, police said they found a Ruger 9 mm pistol on him. The gun had been reported as stolen earlier in the year in Manchester. Police said Libby also had keys to a 2018 Nissan Rogue which he had been seen driving earlier in the week and was parked at the residence. The Nissan had been reported stolen by Enterprise Rent-A-Car, according to police.

In addition to the warrant charge, police also charged Libby with two felony counts of receiving stolen property.

No information on arraignment or bail was provided.
