Seabrook woman accused of stabbing man in Rochester

ROCHESTER - A Seabrook woman was arrested Sunday morning after stabbing a man during an argument, police said.

Elena O’Brien, 30, was charged with first-degree assault after police were called to 77 Maple St. around 8:30 a.m. Sunday for a reported stabbing, police said in a release. O’Brien was in an argument Sunday morning with an unidentified 29-year-old man, who she ended up stabbing in the torso with a knife, police said in the release.

The man was taken to Frisbie Memorial Hospital with injuries that were serious but not believed to be life-threatening, police said. O’Brien was released on $5,000 personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to be arraigned Feb. 8 in Strafford County Superior Court.
