DERRY — Officers with the Derry Police Department are on the lookout for a homeless man who is wanted for a December bank robbery.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Daryl G. Gurley Jr., 24, in connection to an armed robbery at 1:35 p.m. on Dec. 23 at Santander Bank located at 20 E. Broadway.

A man entered the bank and via a note threatened the staff with a gun, although one was never shown during the robbery, and fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Officers were unable to locate the man following the incident, but said they were later able to determine Gurley was responsible for the robbery.

Gurley is six feet tall, weighing approximately 160 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. He may have ungroomed facial hair and a tattoo on his upper right arm. Police say he may be armed and is known to frequent Greater Derry, as well as Nashua and Salem. Anyone with information on Gurley’s whereabouts is asked to call Derry police at 432-6111.
