Derry man arrested for Jan. bomb threat called into Hannaford Supermarket

GOFFSTOWN — A Derry man is under arrest in connection with a bomb threat called in to a Hannaford Supermarket in Goffstown in January, police said.

Police received a call from a worker in the Hannaford store at 605 Mast Road on Jan. 15. The worker told police the store had gotten a call from someone who said there was a bomb in the pharmacy. The store was evacuated and searched by police and firefighters. No threat was found, police said.

According to Goffstown police, a man identified as Matthew Duverger, 28, of Derry was arrested Tuesday and charged with false report as to explosives, a Class B Felony.

Duverger was released on bail and will be arraigned June 8 in Goffstown Circuit Court.
