MERRIMACK — Rotary Nashua West’s Rock’n Ribfest bring good eats, sounds and fun to Anheuser-Busch this weekend.
The menu centers on rib recipes, but there also will be pulled pork, burgers and hot dogs, along with bloomin’ onions, cannoli, ice cream, kettle corn, cupcakes and cotton candy.
Friday’s musical lineup will include Blackheart at 4 p.m., Ben Knight at 6 p.m. and Gary Hoey at 8:30 p.m. Friday; Acoustic Bahgoostyx at noon, The Instigators at 2 p.m., Never Easy at 4 p.m. and Mike Girard’s Big Swinging Thing at 8 p.m. Saturday; and The Slakas at noon Sunday.
In addition, student performers from Belinda Bridgeman Academy of Dance will perform at 6 p.m. Friday, McGonagle School of Irish Dance at 12:30 p.m. and Unbound Dance Academy at 2:30 p.m., both on Saturday; and Miss Kelsey’s Dance Studio at noon Sunday.
Also, Andy’s Summer Playhouse will take the stage at 1 and 2 p.m. Sunday.
Ribfest hours are 4 to 11 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
Tickets are $10 at the brewery gate, 221 Daniel Webster Highway. Children under 8 admitted for free. Funds go to community organizations supported by the Rotary Club.
For those who want to get some exercise before chowing down on festival fare, the Care 5 Miler Road Race steps off at 9 a.m. Sunday, with a fun run for the kids at 8:15 a.m. There also will be 25- and 50-mile bicycle rides starting at 9 a.m. For details, visit ribfestnh.com.
