Later, as a junior at Inter-Lakes High School, he took a part in a production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and spent some time at a summer theatre camp where he decided that he wanted to become an actor. He graduated in 1998 and studied drama at the Tisch School of Performing Arts at New York University. He also joined the Philadelphia Theatre Company and was nominated for a Barrymore Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role as Billy Gray in a production of The Goat or, Who is Sylvia? while he was with the company. He reprised the role at the Arena Stage in Washington, D.C. to rave reviews.
In 2005, Anderson moved to Hollywood and he began to establish himself as an actor almost immediately by landing a recurring role on Veronica Mars. By September 2006, he took a role on daytime television as the quirky computer hacker Damien Spinelli on General Hospital. The character was modeled in part after Spicolli, a character played by Sean Penn in the film Fast Times at Ridgemont High. The character of Damien Spinelli became so popular that Anderson was offered a contract, which he accepted in May 2007.
Anderson cites Johnny Depp, Gary Oldman, Don Knotts and Justin Long as influences. He is also in a band call Port Chuck, with his General Hospital costars.
In 2007, Anderson branched out into the movie realm. He appears in the films Kissing Cousins, Carts, and American Pie: Beta House. He has also appeared on a Dunkin' Donuts Sobe Coolatta commercial.
Bradford presented for the 35th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards in 2008 and he was nominated for Best Supporting Actor in 2009 and 2010.
Anderson was married to his wife Kiera in April 2010. They had a daughter, Juna Meredith Anderson, on July 18, 2011.
Anderson also plays in the rock group "Port Chuck" along with other co-stars from General Hospital, Brandon Barash, Steve Burton, Scott Reeves.
