Petals in the Pines is a certified Nature Explore Classroom by Arbor Day Foundation and Dimensions Educational Research Foundation (one of only 4 in NH). Their offerings include:

Garden and Nature Themed Workshops for Kids with a season full of fun and educational activities.

Leaf Stones are unique and whimsical bird baths, planters, table tops and Lazy Susans available at our self-service stand. We offer scheduled "make-your-own" workshops, or you can host one for you and a group of friends.

Fresh Cut Flower Bouquets stocked at our self-service farm stand June through September (or first frost.) Special orders can be requested as well. Group Tours of our Themed Gardens are available a great opportunity for garden clubs.

There are also special events held throughout the season.

Petals in the Pines is a great place to tour with a garden club or group of friends. With 20 themed gardens and hundreds of flower varieties, there’s plenty to see and learn about! Our plantings framed by the natural beauty of granite ledge outcroppings, majestic trees, and rolling hillsides. Hummingbirds, butterflies, bumblebees, and song birds make for an ever-changing symphony of sound and motion.

Stroll along their trails at your own pace, and discover something beautiful around every turn! We also have a delightful shady space and shelter for setting up a plant talk and/or catered lunch for your group. Please call to discuss your plans and possible topics.

Celebrate birthdays in a unique way.

Consider Petals in the Pines for your child’s next birthday party. We offer a fun and beautiful outdoor space here at our mini-farm for your family and friends to enjoy and celebrate – naturally! Parties last 2 hours, plenty of time for approximately 30 minutes of planned activities or a craft that you choose (presented by our staff,) time for refreshments and gift opening, and free time for guests to enjoy their surroundings.

What can they do during free time?
•Play in a huge sand pile.
•Look for treasures in our sand table.
•Climb in the tree fort or on our BIG rock.
•Visit with our chickens.
•Be a budding artist and do a garden painting.
•Build a fairy house.
•Explore the gardens.
•Play croquet, horseshoes and much more.

Our friends say the hardest thing about coming here is getting their kids to leave – there are so many fun outdoor activities to occupy them!

Parties are held rain or shine unless we are experiencing heavy rain the day of the event. In that case we can reschedule -- if that’s not possible, your deposit will be reimbursed.
