The New Hampshire Historical Society offers exhibitions about New Hampshire’s history, art, and culture, as well as a variety of programs for children and adults. Exhibitions include a Native American dugout canoe, Revolutionary War flags, White Mountain landscape art, portraits of New Hampshire residents, decorative arts, and the original 1818 eagle that once sat atop the state capitol. The New Hampshire Historical Society also offers an extensive online museum and library collections catalog, featuring thousands of images, on their website.
