Best time to see foliage?

This area is still mostly green. There are random trees that have some color but - so far - there are not any significant areas of color.

The Great North Woods is still mostly green, with foliage expected to begin turning during the next few days. It's going to be an overnight panoramic painting. Now that the temperatures are near freezing overnight and warm during the day, the stage is set for an explosion of color very soon.
