Best time to see foliage

Updated October 10, 2017

What a difference a few days make! The Great North Woods region is experiencing peak conditions nearly everywhere you look. A scenic drive can be found just about everywhere you look, but take the popular Route 3 north from Colebrook to Pittsburg. We are sure you will not be disappointed. If you are a little more adventurous, continue along Route 3 north to the Canadian Border. There's no need to go through but the area offers unparalleled beauty. Don't forget to watch out for wildlife (BRAKE FOR MOOSE!) and you may actually see some along the way!
