Best time to see foliage?
The foliage peaks at different times in different parts of the state. Generally, the best times to view the fall colors are near the end of September in the far north, the beginning of October in the White Mountain region, and the middle of October in the south.

The Merrimack Valley is moving along the color wheel but the area has a long way to go before this part of southern New Hampshire fully bursts into peak foliage. Hit those back roads for some lovely views.
