Features: The nation's oldest national park includes 1,200 miles of hiking trails, mountain biking, wildlife watching, fishing, hunting, picnicking, swimming and canoeing, 23 campgrounds and 14 picnic grounds.
White Mountain National Forest Hours: The Androscoggin Ranger District office (Gorham, NH) is open Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The Saco Ranger District Office (Conway, NH) is open Sunday to Saturday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The Pemigewasset Ranger District office and Forest Headquarters (Campton, NH) are open Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Acreage: 83 acres
Directions: From Gorham follow Rt. 2 for 3.5 miles East; take left over bridge across Androscoggin River. Head East (right) on North Rd. In 1 mile, Peabody Brook Trail leaves the road on the left. Park on right of road. Follow the trail to enter the property at East end of the trail's brook crossing.
