MANCHESTER — Before heading off to Neverland with “Peter Pan” at the Palace Theatre later this month, bring the family on a trip to Oz.

The Bank of New Hampshire Children’s Summer Series continues at the 80 Hanover St. theater with “The Wizard of Oz,” based on L. Frank Baum’s tale of a Kansas girl who finds herself lost in a magical land.

Show times are at 10 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Thursday. Tickets are $9. For information, call 668-5588 or visit palacetheatre.org.

“Peter Pan” will helm the next outing in the Queen City. He, along with Tinker Bell, the Darling children, Tiger Lilly and the Lost Boys, will be at the Palace at 10 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 14., through Thursday, Aug. 16.
