MANCHESTER — The Harrisburg Senators gave the Northeast Delta Dental Stadium scoreboard operators a workout Friday night.

The Senators teed off on the New Hampshire Fisher Cats’ pitching on their way to a 12-1 victory in front of 6,157 fans.

The loss marked the Fisher Cats’ most lopsided of the season.

Harrisburg (51-47), which finished with 18 hits, brought home five runs in the third inning. Three of those runs came off one swing of No. 6 hitter Jake Noll’s bat.

Noll jumped on the first pitch of his second at-bat against New Hampshire starter and loser Jon Harris (7-4), depositing the ball on top of the awning of the Hilton Garden Inn’s outdoor eating area in left-center field. Noll brought home Raudy Read and Dan Gamache with the blast. Read and Gamache both reached base earlier in the inning with RBI singles.

Harris faced eight batters in the third inning. The righty allowed six earned runs on nine hits and one walk alongside three strikeouts over three frames.

Harrisburg starter Sterling Sharp earned the win. The right-hander surrendered one earned run on three hits and two walks alongside six strikeouts over seven innings.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (2-for-4) put the Fisher Cats on the board in the third inning with a two-out single up the middle that scored Bo Bichette (1-for-4), cutting Harrisburg’s lead to 6-1.

The Fisher Cats host Harrisburg again tonight at 7:05. Righty Jordan Romano (8-4, 4.06 ERA) is expected to start for New Hampshire. Right-hander Kyle McGowin (4-2, 3.75 ERA) is the Senators’ projected starter.
