HOLLIS — A Deerfield man found sleeping in a car outside a Broad Street business Thursday morning was arrested when police found he was wanted on Merrimack County drug charges.

Officers were called to the business about 7 a.m., where the business owner had found Jonathan Gelinas, 27, who he didn’t know, sleeping on the property, police said. A records check showed Gelinas was wanted on felony warrants from the Merrimack County Sheriff’s Office for possession of both fentanyl and methamphetamine.

Gelinas was held without bail and surrendered to Merrimack County officials, police said.

He was not charged with a crime in Hollis, police said.
