Author Elizabeth Berg set to visit Nashua library

NASHUA - Best-selling author Elizabeth Berg is touring New England this summer, and the Nashua Public Library is her only stop in New Hampshire.

Berg will read from her latest novel, "The Story of Arthur Trulov," answer questions and sign her books on Tuesday, Aug. 7, starting at 6 p.m.

Copies of her books, including her hard-to-find self-published titles, "Make Someone Happy" and "Still Happy," will be available for purchase.

Berg, the 2010 Nashua Reads author, has won several awards. "Durable Goods" and "Joy School" were American Library Association Best Books of the Year; "Talk Before Sleep" was short-listed for the American Bookseller's Book of the Year; and "Open House" was an Oprah's Book Club Selection. The Boston Public Library named her a "Literary Light," and in 1997, she won the New England Booksellers Award for her body of work.
