The New Hampshire Fisher Cats and Binghamton Rumble Ponies split a doubleheader Friday night at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium, with the Fishers taking the opener, 3-2 and dropping the nightcap, 6-3.

Fisher Cats 3, Rumble Ponies 2: Max Pentecost singled home Cavan Biggio in the eighth inning to lift New Hampshire to a walk-off win in the opener. Jeff McNeil homered and drove in Levi Michael with a single for the Binghamton runs.

Jonathan Davis scored both Fisher Cats runs — one on a wild pitch and the other on a Vladimir Guerrero Jr. single.

Kirby Snead (1-0) got the win with two innings of one-hit, scoreless relief of Sean Reid-Foley, who allowed four hits and two runs in sux innings. He walked three and fanned six.

Rumble Ponies 6, Fisher Cats 3: Nick Sergakis’ three-run homer in the sixth inning broke a 3-3 tie.

New Hampshire trailed 2-0 when Harold Ramirez doubled with the bases loaded in the fifth to make it 3-2.

But the lead didn’t last as Binghamton scored four in the sixth. Matt Oberste singled home Peter Alonso to tie the game, setting up Sergakis’ heroics.

Oberste drove in two runs, and John Mora had an RBI for Binghamton (21-19).

T.J. Zeuch (0-1) took the loss for New Hampshire (24-15), allowing five runs on seven hits. Scott Copeland (2-0) got the win, allowing three runs on four hits. The teams play a single game tonight at 6:35.
