Families First offers monthly co-parenting support group

PORTSMOUTH - Families First Health and Support Center, 100 Campus Drive, offers a monthly support group for parents looking for help with co-parenting issues.

Rebecca Buell Lavoie from Olive Branch Mediation leads the group, which meets from 6 to 7:30 p.m. the second Wednesday of the month.

The next session is Wednesday, March 14.

The group covers how parental conflict affects children; how to choose children over conflict; communication protocols and tools for successful co-parenting; how to deal with a difficult co-parent; and co-parenting through changing phases of life and on special occasions.

The group is free and includes free child care.
