High School Roundup: Stanium, Heller lead Campbell

Spencer Stanium scored 22 points and Joaquin Heller added 16 as Campbell cruised past Fall Mountain of Langdon, 90-65, in Division III boys’ basketball play Friday night in Litchfield.

The Cougars, who ended the regular season 14-4, took a 10-point lead after one and were never threatened. Fall Mountain finished 9-9.

Manchester Central 82, Nashua South 59: In Nashua, the Little Green (11-5) opened a 20-point lead by halftime and never turned back against the Panthers (5-11). Kyler Bosse came away with a game-high 25 points for Central while Dede Niyang posted 14. Richie Mercado and Tony Agor were South’s leaders with 19 and 10 points.

Londonderry 77, Keene 51: In Keene, the Lancers (10-6) picked up a combined 45 points between Jack Anderson and Shane McNamara on the way to bouncing the Blackbirds (4-12). Anderson finished with a game-high 24 and McNamara dropped 21.

Pinkerton 54, Bishop Guertin 46: In Derry, Dylan Lufkin topped the scoring for the Astros (5-11) with 15 points and Sam Goy tallied 12. BG slipped to 3-13. Girls’ basketball

Manchester Central 41, Nashua South 28: In Nashua, Destiny Jordan had eight points while Keltina Francis, Lily O’Connell, Katelyn Howe and Shae Rix all had six points for the Little Green. Central finishes 11-7 and will be the sixth seed in the Division I tournament.

Manchester Memorial 69, Exeter 58: In Exeter, sophomores Lyric Grumblatt and Jennessa Brunette led the Crusaders with 20 and 13 points. Haleigh Shea added 10 for the Crusaders, who outscored Exeter 19-9 in the fourth quarter and finish the season 15-3, good for a first-round playoff bye. Carly Pierce led Exeter (8-10) with 18 points. Julia Sherwin added nine.

Bishop Guertin 65, Pinkerton 53: In Nashua, BG (13-5) torched Pinkerton (15-3) in the third quarter, opening a 19-point lead. Hannah Muchmore tossed in 18 points for the Cardinals and Caroline Hoffer scored 13. Brooke Kane led Pinkerton and all scorers with 21 points.

Pelham 59, Manchester West 17: In Manchester, Danielle Sirois (14 points) and Caitlin Riordan (10) led the charge for the Pythons (16-2). Abuk Teng scored 11 for West (0-18).

Hanover 51, Windham 43: At Hanover on Thursday, Lois Schwarz led all scorers with 15 points and Frances Taylor added 12 for Hanover (13-5), which outscored the Jaguars 21-7 in the fourth quarter. Ali Scheibel led Windham (10-8) with 11 points, and Sarah Dempsey added 10.

Londonderry 62, Keene 38: In Londonderry, the Lancers (9-7) got 20 points from Courtney Shay and 13 from Ashley Rourke. Keene finishes its season at 5-13.

Bow 40, Kearsarge 39: In North Sutton, Lea Crompton dropped 22 points for the Falcons, who end the regular season at 11-7. Lauren Goyette followed Crompton with 11 points while Erin Boldwin pitched in six steals and eight rebounds. Jackie DeAngelis scored nine points for Kearsarge (5-13).

Boys’ hockey

Pembroke-Campbell 4, Hollis/Brookline-Derryfield 2: At Conway Arena in Nashua, Sean Moore scored two and assisted on another for Pembroke-Campbell. Jayden Lamy and Daniel Israel also scored. Jared Sanborn, who scored his first high school goal, and Sal Vella scored for the Warriors (1-16), who got 42 saves from Patric McDonald. Adam Omundson made 38 saves for Pembroke-Campbell (7-10).
