Nashua neighbors focus of photography exhibit

January 31. 2018 1:16PM

The Nashua Neighbors Photography Project exhibit will open Friday at the Nashua Public Library, 2 Court St..

Longtime Nashuans, as well as newcomers to the city, will be showcased with an exhibit of their portraits and personal stories at the Nashua Public Library, 2 Court St., starting Friday.

Greg Indruk and Lauren Osowski created the Nashua Neighbors Photography Project after conversations they had recognizing Nashua as the most diverse city in New Hampshire. They wanted to give locals a chance to share their stories and get to know their neighbors.

Indruk, who has been friends with Osowski since high school, took the photographs and Osowski interviewed the subjects. There will be an artists’ reception at the library on Feb. 15, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Several subjects of the exhibit will participate in the library’s Human Book Festival on Sunday, Feb. 25, when attendees can sit down for one-on-one conversations.
