Time changes for Hooksett Town Hall start this week

HOOKSETT — Hours for the Town Hall offices will change starting this week.

From now on, the Town Offices will be open until 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday and close at noon on Fridays.

The change came after residents asked for extended hours during the week — primarily for the Town Clerk/Tax Collector offices and Community Development.

By approving the change, the hope is to be able to provide services later once a week without the need for overtime, according to town officials.

The Town Offices open at 8 a.m. throughout the regular work week. On Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, the offices close at 4:30 p.m.

Anyone with questions or comments about the change can contact Town Administrator Dean Shankle at 485-8472.
