Kingston Library will be stuffing stockings for vets

KINGSTON — The public is invited to stop by the Kingston Community Library to decorate and stuff a total of 50 Christmas stockings for homeless veterans Saturday, Dec. 23, at 10 a.m.

Community members, businesses and dentists have donated toiletries to fill them.

Each stocking will be topped with a knitted or crocheted hat that has been provided by the knitting clubs of the Fremont Public Library (Giving Hands) and the Kingston Community Library (Sit n’ Stitch) as well as individuals throughout the Seacoast area.

The stockings will be delivered to the homeless veterans serviced at Liberty House in Manchester and the Veterans Northeast Outreach Center in Haverhill, Mass.

The library is located at 2 Library Lane in Kingston.
