MANCHESTER — Two VA group discussions on veterans’ care are being offered today, and the next VA task force meeting has been scheduled for next week.

A focus group discussing medicine and surgery will take place today at 11 a.m. at the Sweeney American Legion Post, 251 Maple St., Manchester, followed by a focus group on primary care and mental health, rehabilitation and extended care at 12:30 p.m. in the same location.

The VA New Hampshire VISION 2025 Task Force meeting will be held Monday, Dec. 18, from 3 to 4 p.m. at the Manchester VA Medical Center, 718 Smyth Road.

The task force reviews the services at the Medical Center to ensure that the needs of New Hampshire veterans are being met. It is comprised of, and collects feedback from, veterans, VA staff and medical experts. The focus groups serve as one means of gathering such feedback to be presented to the task force.

Both the focus groups and the task force meeting are open to the public.
