ROCHESTER — A two-vehicle crash on Milton Road at the Spaulding Connector sent both drivers to the hospital early Wednesday morning, the fire department said.

Emergency personnel responded about 6:45 a.m., where they determined a GMC Acadia being driven north on Milton Road by Patricia Poulin, 48, of Milton collided with a Chevy pickup driven by Andrew Kibby, 37 of Lebanon, Maine as Kibby turned left onto the connector.

Poulin and Kibby were taken to Frisbie Memorial Hospital for treatment of injuries that were not life threatening, according to the fire department. The northbound lane of Milton Road was closed while emergency crews worked.

Kibby was issued a citation for failing to yield.
