Advent/Christmas concert tonight at Manchester church

MANCHESTER — The public is invited to attend an Advent/Christmas concert tonight on the city’s West Side.

St. Raphael the Archangel Parish invites the public to its annual concert tonight at 7 p.m. in the church, located at 103 Walker St., just east of Sweeney Park off South Main Street.

A candlelight service of lessons and carols, this year titled “Welcome, Jesus,” the program includes musical selections from St. Raphael Parish Choir, along with the St. Anselm College Chamber Ensemble.

In addition, the a cappella group Aksara will perform, along with soloist Marie-Line Morin and the NH Ukeladies.

A reception in the parish hall will follow.
