EXETER — Police have recovered firearms and ammunition allegedly stolen during a break-in at a local home last week.

Police said they responded to 29 Gary Lane on Nov. 8 to investigate a report of a burglary in which a basement window was broken and firearms and ammunition were reported stolen.

Police later received a tip that led to the execution of two search warrants. Exeter and Stratham police, along with state police, conducted searches at 95 Portsmouth Ave. and 19 Pheasant Run in Stratham, police said. The searches resulted in the recovery of the firearms and ammunition, police said.
