NASHUA — A Gate City man was arrested Friday on lewdness charges, after two women say he exposed himself to them behind a Nashua business in August.

According to Nashua Police Lt. Kerry Baxter, at 7:56 p.m. Friday police arrested Nicholas Savoia, 24, of 16 Poliquin Dr. in Nashua and charged him with indecent exposure and lewdness, following an investigation into a report of indecent exposure officers received in August.

According to Baxter, on Aug. 16 around 2:13 p.m. officers responded to the rear parking lot of the Southern New Hampshire Health Immediate Care center at 112 Spit Brook Road, Nashua, for a report of an indecent exposure. Upon arrival, officers spoke with two adult females who reported that while they were in the parking lot a male exposed his genitals to them while he committed a lewd act.

Police identified Savoia as a suspect, and officers applied for and received an arrest warrant for him.

Savoia was released on $2,000 personal recognizance and will be arraigned at the 9th Circuit-District Division-Nashua Court on Nov. 30.

Nashua police request anyone with information regarding this or any similar incident to contact them at 594-3500 or the Crime Line at 589-1665.
