Hooksett woman hurt in ATV rollover at Berlin park

BERLIN — Conservation officers say a Hooksett woman suffered serious injuries after rolling the ATV she was riding Saturday in Berlin.

According to Conservation Officer James Cyrs, Shari Nelson, 55, was on a trail known as Camp Loop Road in Jericho Mountain State Park when the accident happened about 3:30 p.m.

Nelson’s injuries were described as non-life-threatening.

She was taken by ambulance to Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin.

According to Cyrs, Nelson was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. Speed is not considered to be a factor in the crash.
