Manchester woman arrested on drug charge after traffic stop

MANCHESTER — A 48-year-old Clay Street woman was arrested on a crack cocaine charge late Wednesday after an officer said he saw her pull out from behind a closed business and then pulled her over for an unspecified violation.
According to a release, Victoria Castaldo, of 615 Clay St., No. 1, was charged with posession of a controlled drug after the officer said he found a crack pipe stem and a baggie of the drug on her center console during the traffic stop.
Police said the officer had seen Castaldo pull from behind the ColorTyme, 338 Lincoln St., about 11:50 p.m. when the business was closed, and pulled her over after witnessing a traffic violation.
