2001 Nashua graduate serves as Army recruiter
U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Paul M. Jette has arrived for duty as an assistant center leader with Metro North Army Recruiting Company, Indianapolis Army Recruiting Battalion.
Jette is a 2001 graduate of Nashua Senior High School.
He will serve at the Lafayette Army Recruiting Center in Lafayette, Ind. He came to Indiana from Vittorio, Texas, and the San Antonio Recruiting Battalion, where he had been a recruiter since 2013.
During his military career, Jette also has served as a meteorologist and chief of surveys for 3rd Infantry Division, Fort Benning, Ga., which included a deployment to Kuwait; and as a team chief for the 4th Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division at Fort Richardson, Alaska.
Among his military awards are two Army Commendation Medals, 14 Army Achievement Medals, two Good Conduct Medals, the National Defense Service Medal, the Afghanistan Campaign Medal, the Iraq Campaign Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal and the Service Medal, the NATO Medal, the Valorous Unit Award, the Non-Commissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon, the Army Service Ribbon and the Overseas Service Ribbon.
NH woman completes Air Force basic training
U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Jinnea-Brianne S. Hebert graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.
She completed an eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
Hebert, who earned distinction as an honor graduate, is the daughter of Francis and Marie Hebert of Windham and wife of Elizabeth E. Lannon-Goodwin of Manchester.
She is a 2010 graduate of a home-school program in Windham and earned a bachelor's degree in 2014 from the University of New Hampshire, Manchester.
