WMUR's McElveen named VP at Dartmouth-Hitchcock

LEBANON — Josh McElveen, political director and news anchor of WMUR-TV in Manchester, was named vice president for communications and marketing for the Dartmouth-Hitchcock health system on Thursday. McElveen will join Dartmouth-Hitchcock on April 3, succeeding Roddy Young, who will pursue other career options, Dartmouth-Hitchcock said.
A New Hampshire native, McElveen is a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and served during Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm. His resume includes working for a marketing firm in Florida, launching a business and working as a broadcast journalist in various media markets, including Santa Barbara, Calf., New Orleans and Boston.
