Littleton: Industrial park plan fails

LITTLETON — The town electors on Tuesday approved an operating budget of $8,730,879 by a vote of 769 in favor to 465 opposed; the default budget was $8,666,901.

While giving their assent to a $2 million sewer storm water roadway project, most of which will be covered by grants, and also to new contracts to municipal employees, the voters failed to pass an article that, for the purposes of potentially enlarging the Littleton Industrial Park, would have rezoned 115 acres from Rural to Light Industrial.
