Lisbon postpones meeting to Tuesday
LISBON — Winter Storm Stella saw the postponement of Town Meeting until Tuesday, March 21.
At that time, voters will consider a municipal operating budget of $1,850,275 as well as several petitioned articles, one of which would eliminate the office of town administrator, which became vacant last month with the resignation of Dan Merhalski. Last summer he was the subject of a petition effort to remove him.
Lisbon voters will also consider whether to forsake the traditional Town Meeting in favor of the SB2 form, which is broken up into a separate deliberative session and elections.
