Learn how to create iconic Italian gardens

LONDONDERRY — Learn about “Iconic Italian Gardens” at a 7 p.m. workshop Thursday at the Leach Library, 76 Mammoth Road.

Laura Campbell, a New Hampshire landscape design artist who has worked locally with numerous schools to develop educational gardens, will lead the program. She holds a professional degree in architecture from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn and a certificate in landscape design from the Landscape Institute at The Boston Architectural College.

Campbell will explore the history of several well-known Italian gardens including Ninfa, Villa Lante and Villa D’este. She will present her own photographs of the gardens and offer her observations as well as professional insights.

There is no admission fee.
