Armed man sought in robbery of Seabrook convenience store

Police in Seabrook believe this is the SUV an armed robber got away in, after demanding cash using a pistol at the Xtra Mart Wednesday night.

SEABROOK – Police in Seabrook are looking for a man who used a gun during the robbery of an Xtra Mart on Lafayette Road Wednesday night.
Police responded to the scene at 8:40 p.m., after receiving a report of the armed robbery. They learned that the man entered the store and pointed a black pistol at the clerk while demanding money. He then fled the scene in a dark colored sports utility vehicle, which was described to police as a Nissan Xterra, and headed south on Lafayette Road.
Police say the man was described to them as being between 5’4” and 5’6”, is Caucasian, has blue eyes and is clean shaven. He was wearing a black and yellow mask which partially covered his face during the robbery.
