The Tenors go from White House to Vatican ... to Derry

The Tenors, a multi-platinum Canadian vocal group that has performed everywhere from the White House to the Vatican, will play an 8 p.m. show Wednesday, May 10, at the Stockbridge Theatre at Pinkerton Academy.

The Tenors have shared the stage with some of the biggest names in music including Paul McCartney, Sarah McLachlan, Sting, Neil Young, Andrea Bocelli, Elton John, Smokey Robinson, Stevie Wonder, Lionel Richie and David Foster.

More than 150 television appearances include “The Oprah Winfrey Show” with Celine Dion and the Primetime Emmy Awards Broadcast.

With its mix of pop and classical styles, The Tenors have performed for the last four U.S. presidents, including at the White House Christmas Tree Lighting for the Obama Family. The ensemble also entertained world leaders at the G20 Summit in Toronto, played at the Music For Mercy Event at the Vatican in Rome, performed in Vancouver for the opening ceremonies of the XXI Olympic Winter Games, and held court for Queen Elizabeth II’s Diamond Jubilee and as well as her 90th birthday celebrations at Windsor Castle.

The concert was planned in conjunction with Tupelo Music Hall in Londonderry.
