DERRY — After some mystery, the third finalist vying to become the next town administrator was revealed Thursday.
Troy Brown, the current town administrator of Hollis and former town administrator of Pembroke, appeared during a public forum at the Municipal Center to answer questions from residents.
Also appearing were the other two finalists — Peter Graczykowski, an executive consultant and the former city manager of East Providence, R.I., and Galen Stearns, current town administrator of Antrim and a former Windham selectmen.
While the names of two finalists had been released earlier this week, Troy Brown’s identity was withheld until he could consult with his family and employer, Council Chairman Mark Osborne said Thursday.
The three finalists had appeared earlier Thursday at a forum to answer questions from town employees.
The search for the new town administrator is the second one councilors have conducted this year after they announced earlier this summer they were passing over the two remaining finalists — Richard Brown of Massachusetts and Stephen Eldridge of Maine — and reopening the search.
The position has a salary range of $100,000 to $125,000, with a generous benefits package.
