CONCORD — Gov. Maggie Hassan raised more than both Republican gubernatorial candidates during the past two weeks and has more than $1 million in cash on hand.
Hassan raised more than twice what Republican Walt Havenstein and more than 10 times what Republican Andrew Hemingway have raised.
Hassan raised $78,934 during the two-week period and spent $162,868, mostly for advertising and research. For the primary, she has raised $2.18 million, spent $1.05 million and has cash of $1.12 million.
Havenstein raised $36,474 during the two-week period and spent $563,053, almost $400,000 for television advertising time. For the primary to date, he raised a total of $2.03 million of which $1.5 million he contributed to his own campaign, and spent $1.24 million and has cash of $787,392.
Hemingway raised $6,658 during the two-week period and spent $7,279. For the primary to date, he raised a total of $106,903, about a quarter of which he contributed to his own campaign, and spent $69,488 with cash of $37,415.
The primary is Tuesday.
Candidates have to submit final primary reports Sept. 17.
