Who scares Shaheen? She wants to stop Scott Brown

Who is it that Jeanne Shaheen really doesn't want to face in the November U.S. Senate election?

No offense to other Republican candidates or their supporters, but anyone who has walked by a TV screen in the last few weeks knows that it is Scott Brown who scares her bigtime.

We don't think it is true that Brown is Shaheen's worst nightmare. Judging from her relentless, expensive, and ham-handed paid attacks, the poor woman isn't getting any sleep at all.

Sen. Shaheen isn't holding any genuine public meetings, but she is right out front with her negative attack ads (she shows people who claim not to trust a man they have never met) against Brown.

We have lost count of the number, but Shaheen's anti-Brown ads seem to have surpassed her other efforts, in which she tries to convince college students and families that she has some great legislation to "help" them. Her "help" is to load even more debt and taxes on them, and on every other American taxpayer.

Scott Brown's primary opponents may think it is good for them to have Shaheen bashing him.

But Republican and independent voters who want Shaheen out have to ask themselves why she and liberal PACs are concentrating their increasingly desperate efforts exclusively on Scott Brown.
